The suspense of waiting
So, I’ve applied for graduate schools for next fall. I think I’ve posted about that. I’m still waiting on hearing anything from any of them. It should be a few more weeks or by the end of March. Waiting sucks.
However, last week I got an email and a call from Trinity saying they reviewed my application for admission to their Health Care Administration department and they liked what they saw and are inviting me to interview with them. That’s part 2 of the application process. I would love to get accepted and go there because I would love to work in the health care field or something related to it. And I get queasy at the sight of blood, wounds, needles so being a doctor or nurse probably won’t work. Haha.
I have my interview with Trinity next Thursday. It’s from 10:30 to 1:30 – talking to 3 people individually for roughly 30 minutes each, going to lunch (I think?) and having a tour of the campus with a student. I just hope I don’t screw up.
But it’s a trip to San Antonio and something to do besides sit here at the office waiting for something to do. I kind of hope we go to Austin afterward. That is, if the kids aren’t still sick with ‘the flu’. Poor babes. Haven’t seen them in a month. Lyra’s probably going to change so much over that time. She’s growin’ like a weed.
