AGAIN I need to remember to update here. If anyone still visits here and see that I haven’t updated in a few weeks, please email me or comment or something to ‘nudge’ me to post. Otherwise I get so distracted with other things that I forget to blog here.

School has been going alright. My class this summer session is STAT 651 – Intro to Statistics. I had my first test on Friday. We got to use a cheat sheet for it so I basically crammed 2 week’s (about 2 months or so a regular semester) onto an 8×11″ piece of paper, both sides. Turned out I didn’t really NEED to do that. It wasn’t as bad as I expected. I thought I would need all the notes since we didn’t get a study guide until Thursday and my family came to visit Thursday, resulting in me eating lunch with them, rushing to class, then running around with them and over-indulging in dinner – only beginning to study around 8:45. Good thing my class isn’t until 2pm. I did pretty well – 91. I just hope I can keep up the A average.

I worked last week and this week as well. Well not as much as I’m signed up to work, but at least I didn’t just do nothing. Administering the surveys and stuff in the lab is pretty neat, I guess. It’s going to be a lot busier next session – going from around 10 students per lab session to 40. TA’ing will be busier either. The prof next session has at least 200 (compared to 60 this session) students. I’ll be doing a lot more running around for him and probably holding office hours. IDK if I will, but it would be cool. Whatever. As long as I get a paycheck and part of my tuition reimbursed. This job better continue into the fall. Budgeting, people, please don’t let me down!

I cooked pork chops before I went to class this afternoon for dinner tonight (and probably for next week as well…) because I knew I wouldn’t feel like doing it tonight. I’m so tired by 6 that I don’t want to do anything. Anyway – they smell SO good. I just put pepper and garlic salt on them and cook them in a pan on the stove. Mmmm. My whole apartment smells delicious and like home. That makes me very happy…until I get sick of the cooked meat smell. But for now, it’s great. :)
