My name is Robin. I’m a 22 23 year old college grad with a degree in Marketing living in a suburb north of Houston, Texas. I graduated from Texas A&M University in May. My birthday is October 10 and I’m the ‘baby’ of the family and the youngest of 3 children. I have one brother, one sister, one sister-in-law, and a whole gang of nieces and nephews (1 niece, 2 nephews, and another soon-to-be niece). I live with my parents right now and am planning to attend some sort of grad school in the fall of 2009.

I love music. I was and still somewhat am a big fangirl for the Backstreet Boys. I was insane about them throughout junior high and high school. My insanity has kind of died down in the recent years but I still love them. I also love Lifehouse, Jessica Harp, Coldplay, Snow Patrol, and other bands. I love all sorts of music but right now my favorite genre is probably country.

My favorite people in the world include Billie Piper and David Tennant, if you haven’t already guessed. I absolutely love them. Other things I love are: sleeping late, peanut butter, the smell of onions cooking, the smells of Thanksgiving, the sound my nephew makes when he laughs, flip-flops, diet coke, chocolate, the color blue, sunsets, beaches, thunderstorms, the smell of freshly cut grass, the feel of my feet on carpet, and a lot of other things I can’t think of right now.

Now for the questions:

What are your favorite TV shows? Right now it’s True Blood, Heroes, Samantha Who? (so cute and everyone should check it out!), House, NCIS, Chuck, Bones, My Name is Earl, Dexter, Stargate Atlantis. Those are the shows I have to watch. I like a lot of other shows but if I don’t watch them on the day they show my world won’t end.

What TV shows can you not stand? If I don’t like a specific show I won’t watch it and don’t bother thinking of it. But I guess it has to be ‘The Hills’. I just don’t understand how popular and entertaining that show can be. Joel McHale talks about how mentally disabling it is every week on The Soup that I’ve grown to hate it. Just from watching the clips on The Soup I’m going to avoid it as long as I can. What about High School Musical? Could that be considered a TV show? If so I can’t stand that either. Such a waste of time, money, and energy. /end rant

What TV characters do you identify with most? I don’t know if I identify with any single character on TV. I really like Peyton from One Tree Hill. I know a lot of fans hate her and want her to die or move out of Tree Hill but I don’t feel that way. I think we’re similar. But I think I’m more of a mix of Haley and Peyton. Why them? I’m kind of a shy nerd. I wasn’t popular or remotely close to popular in high school. I depend on music a lot to get me though things and it’s kind of a necessity for me. I also think I tend to be a bit raw and extreme (right word?) with my emotions which is probably one of the more annoying characteristics of both me and Ms. Sawyer. *shrugs* I hope you guys don’t hate me for being pro-P.Sawyer. I like all the OTH girls and most of the other people except Luke (and Chad Michael Murray). He’s an idiot and should DIAF. Seriously.

If you could visit any city in the world, which would it be and why? London or anywhere in the UK. I’ve never been there but I’ve heard so many stories from my cousins and people who’ve been there. It just seems really great and going to London is on my ‘Things to Do Before I Kick It’. I love Paris and would love to go back. Seriously – any non-American city would be fabulous. I want to travel the world.

What is your favorite/least favorite style of underwear? do you prefer cotton or silk (or lace, etc)? have you ever considered going commando? if you ever have, did you like it? I think they’re called briefs? They’re the type of underwear that covers your up. They’re not granny pants but they’re not thongs. Does that make sense? I’m not a big fan of thongs though I’ve never worn them. I just think it would be so uncomfortable. Um. I prefer cotton because it feels better. Um. I have never gone commando and I really don’t plan on it. I think that would be very uncomfortable.

I won’t go into detail about this. I’m a Republican. That’s how I was raised and it’s how my beliefs and values are. I know a lot of you can’t stand conservatives or Republicans. I don’t think that should change anything. However if you absolutely can’t tolerate conservatives/Republicans, please don’t visit here anymore.
